As someone in the military I've always worn had my hair as a short 2 or 3-1 fade, but after the lockdown occurred last year haircuts were secured. So my hair grew out, pretty long as I was starting to look like a skater. When we were finally able to get haircuts again I decided to do a little reinvention of myself. I decided for a faded side part, 2 on the side and 1.5 inch on top and the results have been insanely positive. I have received so many compliments as to how my hair looks now and that has led to me having a lot more confidence. During the lockdown I watched a lot of these style channels which has led me to dress insanely better, smell good, and be more aware of my posture among other things coming out of it. Your channel has been one of several that has helped me a lot.

I shaved my head (when I was 20 years old) for fun but the amount of work required to keep it bald was tedious as I did not wax my scalp. I was out at the nightclubs with my uni friends (FYI our drinking age here is 18) and I had ladies at the bars coming over to caress my head. As I was a broke uni student I could not keep up with the cost of buying razors all the time and gave up after 3 weeks.
Almost 20 years later I now have long hair going down to my shoulder blades and in about 4 weeks time I am going to get a Kim Jong Un haircut while transitioning to an Ivy League cut.

I decided to shave my head at the beginning of this year. I’m 26 and was losing my hair. I probably could’ve gotten a few more years out of it, but I was so self-conscience about it, thought it best to be done with it. Best decision I’ve ever made. 19 years old and rock a grade 1 buzz. I have grown my hair out long, I’ve cut it short but my hair is just not good. It’s very dry and doesn’t grow out nice. The buzz cut shows off my features goes with my fit body and is more comfortable and unique then my plain short hair. I think a buzz cut is a personality trait and just conveys a message that no other hairstyle can much.

I love that all of these videos about hair styles show the same type of johnny bravo guy with long flowy hair that can get all these styles but they never show anything for guys with afro textured hair. sick and tired of it to be honest.

My hairstyle is much like Antonio’s: not too long, not too short, no jazzy gimmicks or extreme features that can easily date any particular time period. Antonio could step out of a time machine into any decade and while he wouldn’t look trendy, he’d always fit in. Stuff like the pompadour (aside from being a fifties look) just scream out 2018/19 and are already on the way out. More extreme trendy looking haircuts are “hip” and all the rage while they’re in vogue, but are the stuff of “what was I thinking?” in a photo album just a few years later. I prefer styles that don’t date me like medium simple haircuts and medium width neckties and jacket lapels.
