You can find the "Bake Sound to F CURVE" as Sound to samples in the channel menu. I was struggling as well.

If you want to find the sound to curve in blender 4.0.2 is in the channel and called sound to samples

Its now called "sound to samples" in channel instead of bake to sound apparently

Thanks for this great tut. Is there a way to bake the F-curve to keyframes and just edit the keys directly? Is there a way to link properties in the graph editor, for example the 3 scale properties, so that X scale drives the Y and Z scales uniformly?

even after watching this a few times I'm running into issues with the music staying synced. the audio is at the same frame as the F curves and works great for the first time playing it. But when I rewind it to look at something. The audio just continues where it left off instead of rewinding and completely desyncs my project.
