SOLVED: Nintendo Switch Won't Start Up (3 'How To' Solutions!!!)

Here's the solution (How to Fix) for the Nintendo Switch not starting up when hitting the power button! With the first solution to this problem I go through the steps to hard rest your Nintendo Switch. In solution 2 I show you how to reset your power adapter and in solution 3 I show you how to directly connect your Nintendo console to your power cable. This problem was pretty annoying until I figured it out. I thought maybe someone had dropped the switch but that wasn't it. Thankful everything is working great now and I can get back to Hyrule Warriors age of Calamity! It's scary when the power button on the switch isn't working as it's supposed to hopefully this will solve the problem for you!
What to Do If Your Nintendo Switch Doesn't Turn On
Is your Nintendo Switch not powering on or charging? Here's a quick and simple fix. It was a moment of panic. As I eagerly pulled my Nintendo Switch out of its dock to try the new Mega Man 11 demo, I noticed that my console wouldn't turn on.
Maybe my dock is borked and my Switch ran out of juice, I thought. Surely, plugging in a USB-C cable and charging it up would do the trick, right? Nope he system wouldn't even acknowledge that a charger was attached.
I'm not sure exactly what caused my Switch to lock up. I hadn't used it for a week, though I'm pretty sure I've gone longer stretches without touching it. For what it's worth, other Reddit users did cite inactivity as the possible cause of the problem. So, if you want to play it extra safe, it might be best to fire up your Switch every few days to browse the eShop or knock out a few shrines in Breath of the Wild.
Reset the AC adapter by leaving it unplugged from both ends for at least 30 seconds. While you wait, do the following substeps:
Perform a hard reset on the console by holding down the POWER Button for twelve seconds, then press the POWER Button once for the console to turn on. Verify you are using the Nintendo Switch AC adapter (model No. HAC-002). If a different charger is being used, replacing it with the correct accessory may resolve the problem.

hey i dropped my switch yesterday and tried all kinds of hard resets the volume button different adapters the ac plug 30 second trick but nothing works what should i do and i do not want to give it for repair

Sadly none of these tricks worked. Our switch was waiting for the A button to be hit to start a game (select game slot). It was left for over an hour in this state and went black. No amount of charging or resetting works. It’s as though it was fried. 😢

So i was playing fortnite one day on my switch and i was going into my second round of the day and all of the sudden it froze i tried pressing the home button that did not work but after a few seconds that started working I turned my switch off and now I can not get it back on ever since yesterday. So I let my nintendo switch rest for a day by not playing it So Im really hoping that solves my problem.
Also My problem is that im stuck on the nintendo switch logo screen!! 😟

I tried all of these, and it didn’t work. This has been going since last summer. When I discovered how to work the dock (I usually play hand held mode) it worked for a few days. And then it just wouldn’t work. I think it’s something with the charger but I don’t know.
