Join James G as he explores and demos freshly unveiled Jackson American Series Virtuoso, a significant milestone in Jackson's illustrious history, being the brand's inaugural flagship product line Made-in-Corona, California.

Established in Southern California in 1980, Jackson pioneered the industry by crafting instruments tailored to the unique requirements of hard rock and metal maestros, emphasizing features that supported high-speed performance. For the past 40 years, Jackson has consistently innovated in its pursuit of high-performance craftsmanship, solidifying its position as the premier name in metal shredding instruments.

Crafted to ignite the passion of musicians worldwide, the American Series Virtuoso is furnished with all the crucial elements sought after by contemporary high-speed performers. This model boasts an alder body, complemented by a uniquely contoured "hand-shake" heel, ensuring ergonomic ease during extended performances.

The neck, a five-piece blend of caramelized maple, is securely bolted on and reinforced with graphite rods, ensuring unwavering stability up to the 24th fret. Designed for seamless playability, the ultra-fast 12-16" compound radius streaked ebony fingerboard with rolled edges facilitates effortless chording and riffing near the nut, transitioning to rapid scale runs higher up the neck. Luminlay side dots guide your fingers with precision even on the dimmest stages, while a conveniently located heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel offers on-the-spot neck relief adjustments.

The dual-pickup arrangement boasts a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 at the bridge, delivering a fiery, hot-rodded character and robust bass tones. Conversely, the Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1N at the neck shines with a crystalline treble and recessed mids, proving its versatility across various musical genres. The user-friendly controls feature a five-way blade switch, complemented by dome-style knobs to regulate volume and tone.

Additional high-end specifications encompass a Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo bridge system, ensuring consistent tuning stability during bold and intense performances. This is paired with Gotoh MG-T locking tuners and Dunlop dual-locking strap buttons for added reliability and security.

Always a beautiful guitar. Good to see the match headstock color sometimes. ngl john mayer made some influence for non-metal into this jackson perhaps.

I've never played a bad jackson guitar! From the 00s to recently! It's weird because of the shape i was specting a little sacrifice for the looks but no! Even indonesia made ones has leave me more than impressed, the quality, they are built incredible well! I can't wait to try this one out.

I have those same pickups in my San Dimas Charvel.
Don't care much for them, they're really muddy.
