God bless Israel president Isaac Hertzog and his prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and their government leaders to lead their citizens and their neighbors with integrity and morally and ethical not allow their country to be divided and be lead to chaos.

While I support the rights of all people to express their views openly in the liberal democracy that Israel actually is, I am getting sick of these protests against the democratically elected government's legislation which is designed to protect the laws passed by the Knesset. Today I had to drive to Jerusalem via another town first, and I was caught in lots of traffic thanks to the protests. It was a real pain and only achieved unnecessary inconvenience and delays for Israelis. Democracy worked through the ballot box in the last election and a majority of Israelis who voted actually did so for the present administration, including me. Frankly I approve of the aims of the legislation as I am sure do many, many other Israelis. I do wonder if a substantial proportion of the protestors truly understand what they are really protesting against. This legal reform IS democratic and will ensure a fairer outcome with regard to the enactment of democratically passed laws by a majority of MKs in the Knesset.

In past, i was thinking about mr netanyahu wrong. My opinion has changed. Actually i think mr netanyahu has changed, too. Now, he is not same as past. He is doing what is right for jewish. The world is changing and maybe can be a little hard. Specially for jewish people. And israel saw that their other politics couldnt do withput mr netanyahu. The world can be dangerous, sometimes. I dont think that he wants to be bad againts to innocent people. If, jewish all people can be together (with also spain), they can care their rights. He is doing for them. Regards🙏

This is a good start towards the restoration of democracy. Now, change the laws, so that judges can't appoint their successors. The judicial appointment committee should be made up of members of the government.

As a non-Israeli, I am a bit confused by the terminology. A protestor indicates she is defending democracy, yet my understanding is that Parliament represents the "People", ergo the Knesset represents the voice of the people, not appointed judges. Am I understanding the process correctly?
