I love it, dude, when you speak of matters in a Canadian context! Great job! Keep it up.

Australia is very similar - we have $52 billion in credit card debt with $32 billion attracting interest rates of 16% to 18%.

We must learn to live within our means. Living in Toronto in a 2 bedroom apt. $1500 + hydro it's crazy!

Both parents work (student loans),
then you have to live closer to your work, allways moore expensive but much moore now. Low interest rate, taxlaws, unregulated loans and everyone have to live in the same areas. Puches all housing prices up.

When "money" is created by credit, it dissapears when the credit / debt is "repaied". So if we were to repay all our "debt", all money would dissapear from the face of this earth.. It is meaningless to adress the "debt problem", it is the wholle System that is broken. In fact it was doomed from the start, it just took a hundred years to get to the point where "we all" can see this.

if you dont want companies to spy on your computing. use Free Software. Is Free Software less feature-full and shiny sometimes? Yes. but what it doesn't have is malicious features and backdoors. It all depends on how much your freedom and privacy is worth to you. My laptop is an 8 year old Thinkpad x200 (All CPUs newer than Core 2 Duos have back doors) with a fully encrypted disk and I browse the internet using Tor through a VPN. I also ditched my google email for an email provider outside of the US for which I pay a small monthly fee. Totally worth it!

Buying things you don't need with money you don't have. This is what is making people so deep in debt.

Yeah, there are different types of debt. You omitted "pet debt", a rare form of it, but, dude, you're covering the bases well!

Student loans can be wiped clean because it's electronic debt, the money never existed. It doesn't matter if electronic debt gets paid off

how much is being spent for every dollar made in canada? last I'd heard it was around $1.65, that was close to a year or more ago. when the u.s. corrected in 07/08 their debt was somewhere near $1.45 for every dollar made I believe.

Please speak faster in your videos. Great info, but it is draining to listen to drawn out words.
