Axolotl Squishy HAUL!! Huge Ugly Cute Review

Today I am opening axolotls and nothing but axolotls. How can you not love their ugly cute little faces? These adorable guys have become super popular recently so there's lots of squishies and fidgets to choose from.

I got those exact same slime putty Sugar Squishy Axolotl when we visited Malaysia. They sell those for 1 USD. My nieces loved them!!!

Being a domestic breeder of axolotls in the USA, I can say while we're late to the game, Axolotls started being raised in domestics through lab testing for skin graph techniques which we still use today, and recently are the cause of a ton of stem cell research due to their regenerative properties in their cells that mimic ours. As many don't know, axolotls are in the same group of animals as ourselves, they and us share a very common neoancestor. Which makes the story of the God becoming axolotls by sacrificing himself not so unimaginable when our path of evolution left them behind to later make the whole species known as salamanders.

:D Axolotls where originally studied in France and when they bred and retired axolotls, they got domestically distributed. Which then got to Japan, England and finally, america! Where they where found to readily breed. while they are not " pure breds" due to mixing Mexican axolotls with England spotted salamanders. They still preserve enough of the genus that making it a domestic animal is probably the only way axolotls will survive " if not hybridized" for future generations with less then 200 in the wild today and Re-introduction projects failing due to global warming and local pollution from modernization of the lake of origin.

while it might seem like a bad idea, they actually take basic Aquatic husbandry knowledge you'd use for say a discus fish or a Oscar fish. However you have to be ready to have a chiller or multi jet fans facing the water as axolotls thrive better when cold in domestics due to their spotted england salamander genetics. Making a Axolotl that thrives on cold and gets over 16 inches long with proper domestic care and lifespands over 20 years. Domestic strains live longer, are more durable, and actually make ideal pets for a good majority of teenagers and adults :)
