Rumors are fun. It will be very interesting to see where that Z8 is positioned... if it ever appears.

Bigger news: Nikon plans to ship all Z9 orders this year? How can they forecast new systems when they can't accurately forecast/support existing systems such as the Z9?

If I had any input the low end Full Frames would be 30mp and the high end would be 45-50mp stacked BSI. Love my D750 but 24MP leaves me wanting more and my A7R4's 60MP is just too taxing and slows down my system. The D850 is my absolute favorite and a Z8 (with 45-50 MP Stacked BSI Sensor) would be welcomed, but Nikon has to put the Z9 AF or better into its new cameras. Otherwise, it'll sit on the shelf like my Z6II (Biggest regret yet) next to the A7R4.

September 2023. Just the Z8
😢
I'm even thinking in migrate to Canon. The entry and mid level in Canon is way way better. Nikon seems stagnated and lacking of punch. No a FF R8 equivalent, nothing near an APSC R50, R10 or R7.

Nikon doesn’t need cameras they need a better development team that pulls more lenses quicker or allows 3rd party to just go nuts on development. Nikon has been the least satisfactory in terms of development in the Mirrorless groups, especially since they’ve effectively abandoned DSLR.
