One clarification on a point misspoken: power supplies and power absorbed do not equal zero. They equal each other. Then, powers absorbed OR supplied sum to zero. To make.this work we view power generated as a negative power absorbed, or vice versa, and the default to to always represent power as ABSORBED for ALL elements unless stated otherwise.
