Light Curtain Safety Test Stand

Our account manager, Justin, and our engineer, Behzad, demonstrate how light curtain safety equipment works and the accuracy of the test stand as the signal is interrupted. Accurately detecting the presence of an object in the light curtain's sensing field is critical to any repair as they are commonly used in machine guarding applications to detect the presence of a person's finger, hand, limb or body. This is why we are constantly engineering new safety equipment test stands for true testing capabilities!

So the last time that I was down here, you were working on some safety equipment, weren’t you? Yeah! This is my favorite let me show you a setup for you. Wow that really is portable. We have a control panel here and we have all different assembly there's a transmitter and receiver of sti's and banners to in this stand system we can set it up all of that here and check one by one units. You see that alarm will show up, which one is working which one is not working and one by one you can see that one and check one by one leds infrareds in here.
If my customer has just one of these that's damaged can they send in just the damaged unit or do they have to send in both the transmitter and the receiver? They can send it in, just damaged units, and it's not needed to send the whole units. We can test it and set up their units in here in this test stand and check one by one all LEDs, circuits, and control units and we fix it for them. Perfect!
Can you show us how accurate this test stand is? Of course we can. You know what? The safety equipment, it's very important if any things or any objects and the tools and hands are cut there or break the signals they have to shut off the machine and just according to UC Taiwan on all the units was turn it off, it shuts down the machine.
