I love y’all! I love this video! I ran the 128th Boston marathon too! I had an absolutely amazing race! I have no words for the feelings I had as I was running this amazing course! Such an honor & privilege to be here! This was my first Boston but not my last! I got a BQ so will be returning in 2025! I’m 66 years young & my time was 3:50:57, not my best marathon but still great for this course & the heat & full out sun! Congratulations to you both! Love watching the videos! #BostonStrong #Boston2025 🦄🦄🦄💙💛🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️

“Look at the person we’re creating on the journey”. That quote will stick with me as I prepare for my third world major, Berlin Marathon. I’ve only been running for 5 years (I was obese before my running journey) and I could not agree more. Running has given me so much even on days where it blew up. You both are great inspirations to us all! Keep grinding and know this is just part of an incredible story!! Congrats to you and Mary!!

Well done! Running a sub-3 in Boston on an off-day. It may have been your C-goal, but you can be proud of both the result and of your determination on the day.

Well done Ben! I’m actually glad to hear that you struggled. Not to point finger and scoff, but to see a great example of pushing through pain and suffering to finish what you started! Thank you for your (and Mary’s) hard work!

Well done Ben - it’s when things are tough we learn who we really are, and you ground out a result there when everything in your body was telling you no! You’re right to be proud.
Looking forward to seeing Mary’s race!

Congrats Ben, if it doesnot turn out to go as you want, you still did it. You are an inspiration. I hope to run a marathon next year. Injury and covid has put my plans for a marathon on hold for more then 3 years. But I am back training again since this year februari. Already running 16KM again and getting to my first half marathon on the first of June. It will be 3 almost 4 years since I last run half a marathon. Good luck and hope you get to 100K subscribers soon, you deserve it 🙂

Inspirational stuff Ben. Amazing effort and what a finish.
Also thanks for showing your brief walking break. I felt I'd failed when I had to walk/run the last 10k of Brighton. It's made me reevaluate my run.

Fellow wave 1 corral 5 runner here. The comment of the "regret of not trying" really resonates. That's what keeps me going in the later miles. How will I feel the next day if I don't give it my all? Great seeing you out on the course and following your journey here. Let's get to 100k!

Oh my goodness, I loved this video! I know this doesn't make you feel that much better, but almost everyone struggled on Marathon Monday. Also, the travel, the week, etc., played a part, no doubt. I think you and Mary did awesome and your summary of the reasons and experiences in training for and running a marathon was spot on. Bask in your accomplishments, rest up, and get back out there. Hope to see you two at Chicago.

Ben, this was tense. I literally felt my own HR rising as I watched you! But brother, you pulled it back from the brink! So many would've bailed--and bless 'em; they're doing what they gotta do--but you're too resilient for that. Given all that'd come before, quitting wasn't worth it. As if we needed any proof, this is it: You well and truly are a runner, deep down to the yolk! You inspire! Thank you for this channel! Can't wait to catch Mary's journey this weekend!

Wow this really spoke to me. I also ran my 1st Boston this year and had a very similar experience (slightly slower time aside 😂). You capture the beauty and cruelty of the marathon perfectly Ben, well done ❤
