These sort of technical tidbits are what I'm looking for! The Keyshot Quicktips these days are very basic: great for learners, not so much for experienced Keyshot users.

Thank you once again Will. Another useful thing from passes is to post produce the final render, for example accentuating the Ambien occlusion or some shadows/highlights. Also using them to select fastly the mask you'll need.
Is there something in Keyshot like cryptomatte in blender/cycles that allows you to get mask really easy and fast?

Is there a way to utilize png alpha transparency though the solid glass material? I have only achieved it with the basic glass material…thx

Hey will, could you tell me how you do the Strong CD ratial reflection? I use the way you teach in a video called anisotropy, but it is so weak, and not so beautiful as yours, can you help me with this

Ive been using standard 8bit PSD and havent noticed any real difference in terms of quality and workflow. Even in the past, when comparing 8 vs 16/32bit, I cant really tell much difference aside from file size.

So my question is: what is the benefit of using 32 bit at all? And subsequently, I dont fully understand why you had to convert to 16bit, even when you mentioned your colors could misbehave a bit.
