#USSFlorida unleashed - targets Houthis in Yemen with #Tomahawk missiles !

The U.S. and U.K. with support from several other nations conducted strikes against Houthi facilities in Yemen.

This is in response to attacks on Red Sea shipping. The attacks took place at about 6:30 EST.

While the strike were conducted from air, surface and subsurface platforms a particular assets is thought to have played a key role - its the USS Florida.

Viewers may note that the submarine seen entering the Red Sea via the Suez Canal on Nov. 5, a move publicized by U.S. Central Command.

US President Joe Biden stated,
"at my direction, U.S. military forces -- together with the United Kingdom and with support from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands -- successfully conducted strikes against a number of targets in Yemen used by Houthi rebels to endanger freedom of navigation in one of the world's most vital waterways"

If you had to break it down, I wonder what the cost of the network time/system time/whatever you want to call it for the satellite system that maintains the connection with the Tomahawk in flight as well as updates instructions mid-flight for a single average firing of a Tomahawk. lol; for example, if the government is the missile system internet provider, what would the equivalent cost be for firing that missile once, say for a 1000-mile flight or whatever the max range is?
