It's easy to criticise the work these guys do, but they're doing the best they can with the tools they have and the skills that were handed down to them or that they self learned they've never been to a trade school and had their techniques tested to pass a minimum grade. In our throwaway western world that axle housing would have been junked and replaced but they can't afford to do that they have to fix things the best they can. And half the people criticising them in the comment's have never done anything like this level of repair work and are just parroting other people's comments.

In the Engineers in Vietnam we used to call this "field expedience" to get fixed what needed to get fixed while in the field in order to accomplish the mission.. Here they call it their daily job to earn money to feed their families. Way to go guys. from California, USA

Quando observar um Um indiano ou um paquistanês trabalhando pode fazer uma reverência. Pois apesar de a grande maioria não ter formação técnica e trabalhar com ferramentas rudimentares tenha certeza que sairá um trabalho espetacular. Não tão bélo na estética, porém muito forte, bem reforçado para aguentar o propósito para qual o serviço foi solicitado. Meu respeito a este povo sofrido, trabalhador. Que existam mais homens assim. My boss scraps whole semi trucks cause of broken frames and cracked blocks, so much goes to waist here that could be reused. I admire their “everything’s worth fixing” attitude

I have respect for all these guys. They can fix things with limited tools and make them as serviceable as possible.
While in most countries the items would be junked. They seem to not be frustrated by much either.
I’m not mechanical at all but when I need to I’ve often solved things at times.

Weld right thru the dirt. A grinder or wire wheel would really help.
