i like how he described Lord Shiva as the Destroyer/Transformer not just the destroyer because people often think destruction is a bad thing but it actually leads to transformation.

Although I'm not Hindu, this is really fascinating. One source I know won't hide facts and have biases, thank you for sharing!

Thank you for making people understand that Hinduism doesn't have hundreds of gods, just various accepted ways of connecting with the fundamental reality...thus not polytheistic religion. I like that you say that does it even matter. Hinduism gives the follower the freedom yo worship as per their decided paths..thank you once again for being fair to hinduism and not bashing it.

I am very fascinating about Hindu mythology and how they tell the tale about each reincarnation of Shiva and Vishnu. I am also very interest about Vishnu 10th incarnation who will appear in the future. It still surprise me to see that a lot of people still like Hindu through out the century. I guess something will never change.

I understand that your videos have an educational purpose, but I have been watching them forever and I just really appreciate your enthusiasm and passion for the subjects you cover. You are not just droning for some high school kid to get a good score on some test he has to pass; you have a genuine fascination with these topics, and it shows.

This is what learning really is about, a burning curiosity and a love of knowledge, not test marks or cramming for an exam.

Its amazing to say that Hindu never seem to have a lot of conflict since all the God are basically one aspect of another God like how Kabbalah said that we the human are basically aspect of the God. I would like to see more Video about the Hindu God.

The deities represent various aspects of one almighty God. Hinduism gives you freedom to worship whichever aspect you admire.

Two points to add-1)For Vaishnav (followers of Vishnu) Shiva is the supreme vaishnav and For Shivaite(excuse the spelling) followers of Shiva, Vishnu is supreme shivatie.
2)Hinduism(or Sanatan Dharma) understanding of different ways to reach Brahman makes us more tolerant of other religions or practices as we understand that maybe your way of reaching the ultimate truth.

Basically it is believed that first shiva came into existence. It is believed that vishnu came from shiva and brahma came from vishnu.

I read somewhere that when gods asked how universe came into existence. Shiva answered it came into existence from Brahma. When it was asked brahma came into existence shiva answered from vishnu. Again the question was repeated-how vishnu came into existence shiva answered from me. And when finally asked how he himself came into existence. Shiva answered brahma.

Now let us connect shiva to destruction, vishnu to preserver and brahma to creation.
We will find that with destruction comes creation. With creation of something comes its preservation. And with preservation of something comes destruction. And the cycle goes on.
