I’ve been a diehard Lewis fan ever since I started following F1 and this was the start of a period of F1 that I look back on fondly, even if in hindsight it could’ve been a bit more interesting. Have also gained a lot of respect for Rosberg over the years as well. I didn’t like him when he was still in the sport but after he retired, Lewis’ wins and titles started to feel a bit more dominant to me. Nico definitely pushed Lewis hard, and Lewis pushed Nico quite hard.

I look back on 2014 quite positively primarily because of Lewis’ first title with Merc but I also felt that the racing that year was really good. Still can’t believe it’s been almost 10 years since that 2nd title.

Lewis Hamilton will most likely forever, in my eyes at least, be the greatest to ever do it in F1. I’m hella excited to see what he’s gonna do at Ferrari.

You know, the lack of punishment and backlash for what Lewis did to Nico in Hungary is very poor considering that Nico was openly criticized by the entire team and the fans on a first lap incident in Belgium. I think that was the point that Nico realized that Lewis had the priority in the team no matter what happened. But unlike Alonso, he actually managed to overcome Lewis and the team to win 2016. Truly a masterclass.
