What an absolute sweet example of that era convertible. A one in a Million chance.I was thinking while watching how I would love to give it a good detail and spray all the rust under the hood with converter 👍

Great deal as a project car! Here in The Netherlands these cars are reaching classic status, the prices are at least above 8000 euros for a nice one

Regarding the flashing SRS light, I've found if you pull the relevant fuses, wait 10 seconds or more, put back in, you'll find the light goes out. This resets the system in most cases if it's not a faulty sensor etc.

Nice! I just
I picked up a 1992 Convertible for $1500. Runs pretty good and everything works!
I owned one just like it 12 years ago.

Best buy I ever had on a car was a '91 900T convertible for $200. It was at a buy here/pay here lot and the owner told me the transmission (5-sp.) was gone. It was stuck in 2nd, so I nursed it home (2 miles) only to find out that the pin connecting the shifter to the linkage had dropped out. Replaced the pin and drove that beast. Seemed faster than the previous 5 turbos I had owned.
Is the leather like cardboard yet?

Removing that center console piece will give you lots of extra leg room, unless you need a CD player.
Slightly slow crank as well, some dirty components I guess. Nice car though, very good price.

Sometimes the turbos overheat. My neighbour has a 900i N/A 3 speed auto

These are so hard to find. Most of them are sold in the northern states and that means rust. The vast majority of them are now rust buckets in junkyards.
