He has such a strong presence, he knows how to talk and it was like seeing a big moment in gaming to see he back on stage. I don't even play WoW anymore/at the moment but it felt nice.

I have to wonder, will Metzen actually be in a position of power to make the creative changes that Blizzard sorely needs? Or is this just more nostalgia bait before they keep repeating the same mistakes?

I'll admit, this is the first Blizzcon since they announced Legion as a retail expac and that Classic was coming that I am legit excited for upcoming stuff.

The beauty of this animation is all the people who are "coming home" in the comments admit that Chris pretty much said nothing of quality, but are okay with that as long as it's Chris. They love this short because they see themselves in it. And then there are people like me who have played WoW off and on for the past 16+ years who are like "he said nothing so why are you all so excited" - and we love this animation too.
