Xi urges Fujian officials to promote integration with Taiwan

At China's annual legislative session in Beijing, President Xi Jinping has told lawmakers from Fujian Province to continue to promote integration with Taiwan. Xi Jinping was attending a group discussion of the Fujian delegation to the National People's Congress. He urged officials to boost connections between their province and Taiwan, including in infrastructure, trade and natural resources.

Not sure what Taiwan doesnt udnerstand. Declare neutrality and enjoy neighbourly coexistence with all. Switzerland didnt go around asking one power to fight another on their behalf. No one likes a cry baby.

I hope the people of Fujian remember the hypocrite Xi's record as a vice mayor and governor of Fujian. Just remember he did nothing to address poverty there, asked how to deal with poverty when he was Fujian governor, he said it was up to individuals and not the government. On the first chance to leave the post, he literally and figuratively Shanghai out of there and abandon the poor.

So, does he have credibility to be giving instructions now to Fujian. No way
