When I first listened to this (In-game, btw), I just paused and started crying. This brings a feeling of loneliness, of devastation, especially when you are walking through the city, seeing everything destroyed and imagining how it supposedly was before.

That one save point in the abandoned house really brings out the feel of this game and ost

I don't think anything I've else experienced has gotten close to the level of melancholy this game exudes. There's just so much sadness in knowing that there's no hope for this place. Everyone is dead, there's no one to save, only tortured souls to put to rest. You're basically on a quest to euthanize what's left of the kingdom. I think the music plays a big part in selling that.
