😎 Sean Daniel

⭐ Andrea and Sean
--------------------------
A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his YouTube channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

Thanks Sean.. this simple exercise really helps me with a better understanding of where the notes are within the scale, along with navigating along the fret board. As always very informative and well taught!

Great breakdown, always opening my eyes and making the fretboard less daunting

I actually found out how to do this on my own because I was sick of scale boxes lol. It's really great advice tho. Find all the notes on one string, then the next, then the next, until it's done. The E Harmonic Minor has a lot of interesting intervals too.

That’s a great practice routine. I kind of suck at timing and rhythm so I have to resort to my food rhythm guides to keep it sounding good. I like hot dog, apple pie for the chord strum and apple pie, grape soda for the riffs. Yes, really! If I move up to pepperoni pizza, hot fudge sundae, my stomach starts to growl. Thanks for posting

Yeah me too I didn't start teaching myself to play guitar till I was 59 I should have continued when I was 14 cuz I was doing real good at it early and I went to the drums and forgot about the guitar I should have continued with both cuz I would have been pretty good at it and now it's a struggle cuz I'm old but I'm getting there slowly making progress every day takes a long time to learn to play guitar when you're old comes to you really easy when you're young

One of the tricky things for me is to not hurry is when I'm making those changes from chords to notes to not rush it

Thank you so much for this video.I learnt a lot from what you taught. But I would like to understand what you said in the video, starting on 10min 34sec about flattening the seventh note of G scale.I want to know why we need to flatten it(is it becoz of that sound it gives? and also if we flatten it, is it still going be a G scale? Also should we flatten the seven note of the D scale too? Thanks !

From memory the open 245 bit 9n G sounds like Ten Story Love Song by The Stone Roses

Huh. Been following this channel since your primary axe was literally an axe, and I gotta say--you've noticeably improved. Could be PEDs, a body double, CGI, I don't know. But keep it up!

nice. after each chord, how do you know which notes to riff on so that they sound right against the prior note and then how do you know what note to return to? Also, that middle fingernail matches that fret board pretty nicely, almost like a tooth of a person who eats too much tumeric.
