15+ Vanilla Plus Resource Packs For Minecraft in 2024!

In today's video I take a look at over 15 vanilla friendly (or vanilla plus) resource packs for Minecraft in 2024! All these packs work on 1.21 despite some being a bit older, just make sure you download some dependency mods if need be (like OptiGUI, Entity Model Features, and Entity Texture Features which I'll have linked below!)

There's a pack similar to the Fresh Player Animations called Fresh Moves, it does the same thing, animates the player same style as Fresh Animation but you can also have expression by animating your eyes. It looks really cool and they have a really easy to follow tutorial on their mod page on how to get your eyes/eyebrows animated on your own skin.

I don't know if you'd be open for a showcase idea, but would you be willing to do a showcase of the Legacy4J mod? The aim is to make the Java game feel like old console versions, even going so far as to add controller support and split screen multiplayer.

Actually some of the legacy console texture packs are still being updated by 4J on bedrock as you can still purchase them. Very likely the java version of the pack is just taking the bedrock textures and making sure they work on java.

For your next mod video a really nice Vanilla+ mod I found was "Zel's" Disc Crafting which added a really nice way to craft discs! (1.20.1 though I believe)

A few of the illager models are actually inspired by minecraft dungeons! The snow illagers are actually called "Mountaineers" I believe in that game.

If you do get fresh player animations i would recommend getting the fresh moves pack if you want the eye animations
