Kassandra isn’t in Scotland there, that’s England in the video. If you play that quest though, it actually is on a Scottish island.

and this scene is my case for why Valhalla’s canon is an insult to AC lore

The whole game presented choice, because Ancient Greece was about the birth place of democracy, and the theme of AC is free will vs. order, making Odyssey the primordial soup of the franchise - predating either Assassin’s and Templar’s by their modern names. And our choice never mattered because they shoehorn in forced-representation, instead of allowing your choice to matter. If we have free will, why aren’t we allowed to be Alexios in Valhalla? “Because that’s not how history happened” - according to an Animus that couldn’t tell what DNA was which. Imagine an Animus that no longer told the truth. I was excited to see where they took that idea going forward, all for it to never matter.

This is the difference between representation and tokenism. They made Kassandra canon because she’s a woman, not because of who she was as a person.

Alexios was my canon because the Animus let me. I mean, the trailer did say “Power of Choice” right?
