I actually love the idea of actually seeing them as Younger Teenagers. Usually they're obviously around like 16-19 year olds personality wise but these guys feel like they are fresh out of 6th grade.

Love the idea of Mikey presumably going through puberty before Donnie, it adds a lot of character seeing as Mikey is usually the baby of the group.

I love how TMNT is timeless. No matter what you do with those turtles. It never gets old. it's always exciting

One of the few movies of this year that had me engaged throughout it's entirety and by the end I just wanted more. Excellent

This movie has such a more grungy aesthetic which really complements the character designs of the turtles, the ferocious mutants, and the humans. And once again, the animation is stellar! The bright pops of color contrasting to the dark gritty background make for some great visuals. The fight scenes look well animated and the hand-drawn effects are done incredibly well. The character designs for each mutant are distorted and grotesque with slight face disfigurements that differ themselves from other iterations. Hearing more of the turtles’ voices in this trailer was great. Them being actual teenagers really complements the dark gritty environment and situation they’re facing, which helps them to add comedy as they might’ve never dealt with something like this before. This trailer was absolutely great and I can’t wait for more news! Thank you to the animation team, Paramount, the voice actors, and everyone involved for making this movie possible!
