When It was Kevin completely controlling Doey in his monster form his arms are reached out trying to get us, Jack and Mathew were holding open Doey’s mouth either to keep Kevin from completely attacking us or just to keep his mouth open

No, the earliest clue is in the VHS tape where the toy Doey is bouncing around, when he hits a picture, it shows the 3 different personalities of the bigger body of Doey, a angry one, a smaller happy one, and a big one, these not only tease him having 3 different personalities, but what those personalities are, a violent one, a leader, and a child like one

If I remember correctly, Doey is three children combined. Jack (The kid from the beginning), Matthew (A kid from the orphanage that was like a leader for the other children), and Kevin (Who was a trouble maker in the orphanage and acted out when faced with great emotions)

During his fight scene, all three parts of Doey were feeling great emotions. Jack was feeling sorrow and just wanted to go home, Matthew felt guilt for not being able to save the other toys, while Kevin was angry at the player and acted on it. And all three negative and strong emotions caused Doey to loose himself and transform.

heres something i just noticed! If you look closely at the three heads of doey, two of them are sad and look like they even feel bad maybe, but the third head to the right looks at you with a more sinster and angry look.

As revealed in Chapter 4, Doey is a mixture of three different children (Playtime Co. wanted him to have seemingly multiple purposes, likely as his shape shifting abilities would allow him to do so); Kevin Barnes, Jack Ayers, and Matthew Hallard. The three children, with their different personalities, abilities, and history each contribute a piece of themselves inside Doey, fragments of their personality reflected in Doey’s actions and reaction to things around him;

There ya have it, a reasonable crash out in the end. Kevin was in control whole being mad, Matthew tried to calm him down by explaining, and Jack said sorry at the end.

The earliest clue is the song from commercial. In the song it says “triple times the friend and triple times the fun”. I assume this is referencing the three children inside of doey.

His secret was actually revealed at the very beginning. When Doey appeared for his advertisement. He bounced off a picture frame where you see the three variations of Doey. The older caring one, the middle angry one, and the small sad one.

personally, I think the heads and arms represent his mom, dad and that kid. Because they all look human and those were the three he killed, also if you look through the map at doey when he kills pianosarous, he has all three heads there too

If you can see there’s also a small feature Kevin Eyes are angry and the Two heads showing eyes of sadness

I see a lot of people saying Doey has like three emotions, one for each child, but personally I like Sheeprampage’s idea better:


. Mathew is the compassionate one that likes to lead others, the one we see most throughout the game, but he still has some insecurities ( we can see this when Doey says he wasn’t good enough )


. Kevin is the problem child, quick to anger, and very aggressive ( we see this when Doey talks to Poppy especially )


. Jack is where I’m a bit… ehhh, but basically, Jack is the more childish side and overall more emotional ( we can see this when he says he wants his mommy and daddy, or when he, “wants to keep playing” )

Now, that, I look at Doey mouth closer. You can see Jack and Matthew with sad eye's, using they're arms to keep Jack's mouth open without bitting the player.

I actually have a theory of my own. I think Doey’s secret was revealed in the very beginning because the portrait in the ad it showed three faces they were and they were all doing. I think they were each personality of each kid.
