No balance in midfield, this formation invites pressure, and seems heavily counter attacking

So i have been using these tactics since release, and it is very essential, in order for these tactics to work, your LM and RM must be on high/high work rate, i personally use Mendy and Llorente, and the 3 CBs, Kounde, Van dijk and Kompany

i use this one but only one of the rm/lm will comeback on def. one cf will comeback on def also. with only one cm only on stayback. it will kinda def in 442 but attack with 3421. overload is the name

With Odeegard you have one very offensive Player as a cm, while having two fullbacks at rm & lm.

Do you think it would also work to have a second defensive mid and a winger as lm/rm?

My 2 options would be:

a) cm: Ramires + Rice, rm: Valverde, lm: Rodrygo (87), cf: Musiala (89)

b) cm: Rice + Musiala, rm: Ramires, lm: Valverde, cf: Rodrygo
