Like that comic where Reed and his father travel to the future one thousand years everytime. The Thing only ages when he turns back into a human so he ages one week per year. At the end of The Thing's life (more or less 4000 years later, the original Fantastic Four are already dead and have monuments) Franklin is there, looking like he's in his 30s (he could de-age himself if he so desired tbh) which is a cool reference that he's functionally immortal.

I read that fantastic four issue that showed him once a year saving the world and him not actually saving it but the team working together in a way franklin didn't expect and saving it against all odds was a great twist
