There is nothing better then lying in the bed on sunday mornings and watch your newest video. I‘m loving it🥰 As always - very nice pieces. I totally understand your concerns re the Uniqlo trousers. I love Uniqlo and I often do have the same problem with their leg length. I like the short look of the trousers with the sandals but not with the chunky espadrilles, however, when I think about me, I wouldn‘t wear it as much to keep it. I like Ramie, it’s a fiber I haven’t seen much since the 70s-80s, when it used to be more common. Its properties are similar to rayon, with great breathability.

I think the trousers that you were debating about the length on looked good with sandals but not with trainers I would be tempted to get the longer length.

Ramie is a lovely fibre. I bought a long, cream ramie shirt from Liberty in about 1994 and am still wearing it. I dyed it green a couple of years back and will dye it navy soon.

Love the video and the pieces Emma. I've ordered the black H&M sandals which I really like - I've ordered size 9 as I'm 8.5 usually but can't get these half sizes very easily. After reading your info am wondering whether I should have tried the 8 but my main worry is the ankle strap as often these come up short so I decided to go for the larger size. Hey-ho though - all will be revealed when they arrive! Looking forward to the mid-week video - a nice treat! Love to you, Simon and the Bs. X

Hi Emma. I loved the summer dresses- I wear them a lot in the Greek climate and the looser the fitting, the better! I tend to live in my Birkenstocks sandals as well as my dad sandals which I bought from H&M about 3 years ago. You have the perfect figure and shorts look great on you. I prefer the longer length Bermuda style for myself but am too old and wobbly to wear them in town ! The only item I wasn’t so keen on in today’s video were the Uniqlo trousers which weren’t long enough to cover your shoes but not the flattering cropped length either. When they have that awkward length, it tends to look as if they shrank in the wash. The first white rami dress is adorable.💖🌸
