OMG! They also have that red colour skin ointment just like the Himba tribe of Namibia and Angola? This two tribes must be made to meet even online or through a video. Am not afro but love all African traditional music played using traditional instrument. It normally sound like heaven to me. I will not be done with this video soon. Thanks Chams Media for another great work as usual.
A quick observation and analysis watching their very able Governer and that woman selling basket tell me that indeed these are the same people. In fact now I can tell the Himba came directly from this tribe and not directly from the Masai, their Masai lineage is thorough the Turkana people it seem's. The turkana just like the himba it appear they have luo blood also. That why they pull out teeth also and have the O words a lot. Do Turkana pull out teeth traditionally? If yes am justified. That basket lady obvious has luo bloodline. The Turkana must be Masai mixed with luo and kalenjins but other similar tribes in Ethiopia look Kikuyu Masai, kalenjin, luo mix. I have always wanted to know more about Turkana's. This is my first baby step in that direction. I love this tribe never knew they have reeds like that. More on that in the near future.
