Moon Knight, Morbius & Dr Strange 2 INSANE Connection Revealed! Eternals Created X-Men in MCU Teased

Moon Knight’s first episode will drop two days before we get Morbius, and it’s final episode will release the day before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. And this has gotten fans excited and theorizing on if Moon Knight will appear in Morbius or vice versa, and if the end of Dr Strange 2 could set up the Midnight Sons. But that's not the only connection because in a recent interview with Variety, Oscar Isaac who’ll be playing Moon Knight AND Jared Leto who’s playing Morbius bonded over their characters and going all out with their performances. Now while some may not think that the interview means anything, Isaac did reveal that the show will only be a limited series, meaning that there won’t be a second season. We also at the very least know that Marvel has in the past set up connections in different projects releasing close together. Take Hawkeye for example, Kingpin was teased at the end of episode 5, Matt Murdock appeared in Spider-Man No Way Home two days later and in episode 6 the Kingpin officially appeared and played a major role in Hawkeye’s finale. So since Marvel is doing this again with Moon Knight and Dr Strange 2 we could see some connection between them, whether it be the Midnight Sons, Blade, or something else like the Black Knight project even. And since Marvel Studios and Sony have such a good relationship now the same could be said for Moon Knight and Morbius especially since Marvel Studios is currently working on the Werewolf by Night Halloween Special which is greatly connected to both characters and even the Darkhold which we know will play a large role in Dr Strange 2, again making another connection to that film. Also something that should be mentioned is that Morbius recently had reshoots which many people hope was to include Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man, and while that could be the case, it’s probably no coincidence that both Moon Knight and Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had reshoots at around the same time as well. So it makes me wonder if that’s actually the reason why Morbius was delayed again, because when it happened it was seemingly for no reason, but now that the Moon Knight release date has been revealed it’s starting to make a lot more sense. It was ALSO revealed by Deadline that Dr Strange 2 and Moon Knight will most likely get trailers during the Superbowl. And lastly, I’ve talked about this before but quite frequently Marvel will introduce some idea in the comics which will later make its way into live action, and one of those new ideas could introduce the X-Men into the MCU. In the months leading up to the Eternals, everyone thought that they’d be responsible for creating the X-Gene and eventually the Mutants, but in the movie we didn’t really get any hint at that being the case. However, in the comics, the X-Men are currently set to fight the Eternals for that very same reason, because they created the X-Gene. With the comic which is releasing this Summer showing us a tease from Druig which says, “For a million years, Earth has been protected from the Deviants. But we made a mistake… We missed some. The Mutants” So of course take this with a grain of salt as it could have no connection whatsoever and may just be a cool idea that they came up with for the comics, but I mean c’mon, it’s pretty obvious that this could come into play in some way. We literally just got the Eternals, we know that the Eternals 2 is coming, the Mutants project was announced back in 2019 by Kevin Feige and is coming eventually so this could be the perfect way to introduce them into the MCU. Plus I mentioned yesterday that Ma Dong Suk will come to the US this Summer to film a new project as Gilgamesh. And while I did say that it’s probably too early for the Eternals 2, it really does seem like the only option since Gilgamesh died in the Eternals.
