Why do you do half hitches with your snell knot?

There are alot of exceptional anglers who do not believe in the snell. Some guys have had alot of fish get off, and have gone back to ewg superlines, or owner twistlock flipping hooks. Tell Ish to remove his finger from the weight, and see if the hook "kicks out." It won't.
