President Trump’s budget proposal cuts all funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and PBS stations just like ours. WNET President and CEO Neal Shapiro talks about the importance of public broadcasting for the country. Protect My Public Media is a campaign to keep funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and asks Americans to sign a petition.

The science on NOVA is not about rating buzz, and it doesn't endorse "Ancient Aliens" like the History Channel. The journalism on Frontline goes after war crimes and medical malpractice, not starlet handbags. The children's shows are about literacy and social skills, not selling tickets to Disneyland. PBS and the NSF were the only reasons I was proud to pay my taxes.

I’m a liberal Democrat from NYC who supports Joe Biden, Obama and The Clinton’s and JFK and LBJ and Martin Luther King Jr. Because I grew up watching and remember some of things of my childhood like Chris and Martin Kratt from their nature shows in the 90s. Also Mister Rogers neighborhood and Arthur. That became a big part of my childhood growing up when I was little. That Trump Mitt Romney and especially Nixon our a bunch of Republicans idiots.
