Hardware Road is a radio show with the focus is on presenting electronic dance music artists, who perform, produce and make music with hardware; drum machines, synths, modular synths to anything else can be found in a techno studio big or small! This episode we chat to Honeysmack in his studio. Honeysmack has been actively producing music and performing live Techno for almost 3 decades. His music grew from the underground rave scene of the early 90s, combining Acid and Techno to create a unique sound that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking. firmly believes the essence of electronic dance music resides in a live improvised approach, very different to DJing. Equal parts performer, producer, prankster, punk and disrupter; Honeysmack’s reputation for challenging audiences by pushing the creative boundaries of Techno and how it is presented is consistent throughout his work since the 1990s. Honeysmack surrounds himself with an arsenal of drum machines and synths for every performance. We chat about his live electronic hardware acid techno performance and production.

I am your host Mr. Rachele. I am a live hardware techno improvisational artist. Pure techno with a hint of tec-funk. 1990s Euro-techno meal served with lashings of futuristic textures and rhythms. Hardware Road is a passion of mine, and I am a huge advocate for local live electronic artists and its community.
