So very nice to see a song led from the piano. And MAN can he play! Absolutely love this song. My father passed away last week after God sustained him for 3 years with pancreatic cancer. My dad was a pastor who truly gave his all for Jesus. Even in his last day of life, God was bringing people to Christ through his life. When he died, he had a smile on his face. I know it's because he saw Jesus. In that moment, a peace fell over our house, and we were not sad, but rather rejoicing, because we knew my dad was ALIVE, with his Lord! I played this song and we just sat and cried tears of joy, worshiping our Savior. We are not humans who have a spiritual experience, but rather spiritual beings who have a human experience. We were made to live forever!

What an amazing talent! Matt Maher is not only a superb musician but a poet. I love the line, "I heard mercy call my name. He rolled the stone away". How many of us have had Christ roll our own stone away from a life in the grave only to give us a new life in Him.

Glory to God, HE LIVES. “He rolled the stone away.” Every time Matt sings this, I feel his joy: I know he KNOWS, and he’s picturing it. Awesome. “Even so, Come, Lord Jesus.” AMEN.

Oh my was I covered in sin and shame, I heard mercy call my name. Hated God and life but the grace of God touched my heart last week and 5 days ago, I accepted God and Jesus into my life after 40 years of dying on the inside. Praise God for his grace and mercy. Heard this on the radio this morning and I was so filled with his presence, I am sure I looked the fool to others, singing my heart our and crying. God is good huh?

When this song first touched me in 2015, I was still teetering on the decision to really know God. All these years later, I have a true and unexplainable appreciation for this song.

The hope in the good news that there are in the gospel when seen in a close look, reveal the magnificence, The Omnipotence, The Sovereignty and the passionate love of a God that has chase His creation even when they are running from Him. He saves because He is merciful and not fair. Fair is letting us all, go to hell, but even when we were sinners God sent his Son for us, and He died to pay the price of my sins, present past and future to the Holy One and boom I am free, because He lives I can trust Him with tomorrow!
Rejoice, Our God is in control and He is taking this little flock of sheep, HOME!

I have listened to and watch this video many times. Not only is the song and the singing excellent, but watching talent pour out directly from God to Matt Maher's hands on that piano is like getting a glimpse of God's Glory.
