They look way better than cardboard but I'd really need to know how they were cleaned after use 🙈 don't want to transfer creepy crawlies from other people!

Never seen them before but I'd absolutely love using them if I could

I love this! Another thing to keep in mind is that retail stores get shipments almost every week, and recycle the boxes. However, you can call the store and ask when their shipment days are and if they can hold the boxes for you to pick up at the end of the day. I was happy to do this for people when I worked retail, and it’s completely free!

I hope they get really well sanitized because as someone who has had bed bugs, l dude I go over every square inch of a even the back of a moving trucks scanning for them. Having them is no joke!!

OMG this is so cool!! I hate dealing with the tape and breaking boxes down and storing them for my next move.

Not a bad idea but I wouldn’t want to use plastic totes that other people used. I bought a bunch of Hefty containers and we circle them through friends or whoever needs them for their move.

I used these for my last two moves! For all the people worried about creepy crawlies - I just wiped them down myself after delivery. Still took less time than putting together cardboard boxes.

To everyone whos going to college soon listen....
My mom bought me plastic moving bags. They were great, held a good amount of stuff. And they store flat and pretty small so you can keep them for when its time to move out.

The last few times I’ve moved house I just used reusable shopping bags, suitcases, and a few cardboard boxes I had. I didn’t need to buy or rent anything new - I think most people could easily move this way with bags/boxes they own, plus borrowing extra bags/boxes from loved ones if needed.

In Switzerland we reuse the cardboard boxes many times, I have some from 20 years ago and if you fold the ones here correctly you don't need any tape and when you unfold them they use need almost no space.

All my moving boxes came from the bakery at the local big box store. I had to flatten them there and go back again and again, but they were really clean (had bags of bagels and bread in them only) and it felt good to make use of them.

Looks cool! Where I live you can rent cardboard boxes. They can be reused many times aswell and the boxes you showed bring a lot and lot of plastic into the world.

I used these last time I moved! it was so much easier to stack and move. also plastic is super easy to disinfect so if you were really worried, you could spray them down pretty quickly before use. I didn't have any problems.

The last two times I've moved I used boxes like this. I bought some Rubbermaid/sterelite ones from the box store. Granted I've been moving one person so buying them made sense. I use a couple year round as my things to get out of my house box.

wish we had this option near us! I heard about this before our last move, and unfortunately no options :(

I used reusable and am so glad I did! Definitely forces you to unpack as quickly as possible though, so it's important to be efficient or have friends that can help pack and unpack quickly!

I love reusables, but not only does my area not provide a similar rental service, but i also eanted to move as cheap as i could. Instead i hoarded my misfits delivery boxes for a few weeks, then went to lical grocery/hardware stores to ask if i could take their boxes bound for garbage/recycling. They were happy to have me take them off their hands! My area aslo does not have curbside recycling, so i broke them all down and collected them in the back of my suv to take to a nearby recycling facility when i had the time

Used them for our last move and LOVED THEM!!! Rented from a local company and it was so seamless and no cardboard waste!!!

I would, but I ended up collecting other people's discarded storage totes and I've also saved a bunch of weekly food delivery boxes from years ago. I've only had to buy some packing tape the past two moves!
