Thank God you mentioned the Legion of Superheroes TV show. Not that many people know about it and I really enjoyed it as a kid. Although I will say it's probably got the least accurate version of Brainiac 5 (almost fanfiction-like) when I look back at it now. 😂

Nice history! Mon-El has already told us that the cure for lead poisoning was invented by L-Corp about 400 years into the future from present-day, remember? Unless B5 travelled to the past and became an employee of L-Corp, he isn't the one who invents Mon-El's cure - not on Earth-38, anyway. But he might be the inventor of the Legion rings. :) I'm glad that the CW has at least made Supergirl's B5 look android-ish. The Smallville version was totally underwhelming.

I suspect that making Brainy blue had to do with problems with green screen effects. I think he looks better green & the white wig is strange. I read the earlier comics & then some of the Post Zero-Hour ones. I haven't read the Prime stuff. The prices of the comics kept going up & the ones I was reading started having lower quality paper & I just couldn't stay interested.
I am curious as to how they will deal with his ancestors on the show.
Did they ever establish whether or not Lyrl Dox was a direct ancestor or did Vril Jr have another child? (or is Lyrl still canon?) I remember the conception & birth of Lyrl was downright brutal. I somehow think they will steer away from that on the show.

I had no idea who Brainiac 5 was and tell that Justice League Unlimited episode with him and bouncy boy bring Green Arrow Green Lantern and Supergirl to the Future to fight the Fatal five and then The Legion of Superheroes cartoon came out and it got canceled I have been a fan of the character ever since
