Must do in Aspen! Fall Season in Colorado | Maroon Bells, Gondola, Mountain Biking & Hiking Trails

In this video we will show you the Famous Maroon Bells, hiking trails filled with fall colors, mountain biking trails with epic views, the Silver Queen Aspen Gondolas and more.

We took highway 82 through Independence Pass where the driving conditions drastically changed. Make sure you verify their website before you go due to weather, construction, etc. Once we got over the mountains, we were greeted by golden yellow Aspens off the highway covering up the mountainsides. As soon as we arrived in Aspen, we rode around on the trails next to Owl Creek Road (in Aspen) where you will see plenty of Aspens and Elk. Elk came out late evening before sunset. There were probably 50 of them out there.

I used Trailforks to locate trails around Snowmass. I highly recommend Rim Trail and Deadline.

Silver Queen Gondola:

I highly recommended Platos Restaurant where you can enjoy their amazing food with a breathe taking view of the mountains. For dessert, we went to French Alpine Bistro in downtown Aspen where they have the best crepes in town. And the Limelight hotel where we stayed located in snowmass just 20 minutes away from Aspen.

You captured some fox's, that fantastic. Didn't see any wildlife when I went. Maroon bells is pretty epic place indeed. When you're there it like its make believe. Great work on this video. I saw the Gondola and wasn't sure if it was worth it, I can see I missed out. But not exactly, you shared it with me.

Sweet views! I will have to check out the area next year when the colors change. I rode my motorcycle around there earlier in the summer but didn't get to MTB. Looks like a new bike too???

The orange color you were seeing while bike riding is not Aspens, it is Oak brush. Aspens are the small round leaves
