Thank you for posting this glorious music. My son is 16 years old and a sophomore at a Catholic high school here in Virginia. If you go to his YouTube channel 'Mr. Roy Wulf', you can see a video of a presentation he did earlier this month about his love for Gregorian chant and sacred polyphony. He hopes to help introduce some chant and polyphony into school-wide masses.

Floriani's singing of this sublime music is extraordinary. Learning to sing unaccompanied chant with such excellent pitch is not easy! It may seem counterintuitive, but the simpler the music the more exposed the individual voice and therefore the greater the difficulty IMO. The music written for the church from the earliest notation through the end of the 17th century, give or take, is an unequaled artistic treasure.
