Episode 73 of the Desire To Trade Podcast is starting off the year strongly! I’m planning on bringing you the best trading-related podcast that gives results.

Still, as part of the Holiday special, I’m interviewing for the second time Michael Toma. I selected guests that had made an impact on me throughout the year and Michael was definitely one of them.

In short, Michael Toma is a futures trader and I consider him to be a master when it comes to risk management (although that’s a wide topic). He is one of the greatest people I know when it comes to professional futures trading tips!

Hi Nick. I have a 15 and 60 min chart I use for an intraday picture. My trade executions are mostly based off of the 28, 800 trade volume chart using Heiken Ashi bars. Check your platform to be sure they can accommodate. I use Tradestation for this.
Settings > Volume> Interval : 28800 share bar
For Volume: use 'Trade Vol'

I use Heiken Ashi bars to smooth the directional bias for me too and better identifies trend failure vs. traditional candlestick charts. If your platform cannot accommodate, I would default to a 15 min chart using the NYSE tick chart to trigger entries.
