Respected sir, I am very happy to have found a lecture series on control system engineering as good as this. My doubt is about the approximation that you have made when considering the 2 cases of "wt". In case 2, you have approximated the angle to be n*pi/2 but the approximation is mathematically wrong as however large the imaginary part may be we cannot neglect the real part of the characteristic equation for finding angle. Pls explain if you have any views on this.

is this for bode only or for Nyquist and root locus also ?

And w=1/tau (you told this later) @14:08

So, GH(jw) = 1/(1+j)

I know I'm 2 years late to ask this 😂 but if anyone is reading please help me.
