Thanks for the answer! That chord progression is a favorite of mine. I got it from the song Visions by Haken.

How would you go about sub-dividing in tuplets while keeping the pulse of the original time signature and tempo of a song (e.g. Say you're in 3/4 and you have a quarter note tuplet with smaller sub-divisions like eighth notes within it) without rushing, changing the tuplet, or losing the original pulse?

I have 2 more questions. I try to come up with hard ones that puzzle me :) 1st question. What exactly is a Hemiola? 2nd question. What is the difference between playing atonal and playing outside? Thanks

Ok so I have a kind of a dark melody that goes from an Am chord, Dsharp(jus the note), to Ab( just the note) and it has a lot of chromaticism, and I was wondering if u had any advice as to how to incorporate chromaticism or tritonic resolutions effectively or how to help the melody move because I feel like I can't get out of using the tritons all the time.

Were u ever thinking about going over some of the compositional aspects of doom metal?

What is your advice of how to get the feel for quintuplets or septuplets and get good at them? (8ths, 16ths, 32nds or triplets I already know)
