There's a Ghanaian trader who calls himself a Dr living in Russia did the same with our funds 3 years ago and till date, he's not even remorseful for what he did to us . I think the difference here is that Don did grow an account live, for a year+ from 100K to 1M+, so you can't really say anything about parking your money with people who don't have long-term trading results. He definitely does... I think the lesson here is, in general, not self-managing your own funds, upskilling yourself on how to trade and so forth, is essentially placing all your eggs in someone elses basket... if they decide to burn the basket, you burn with it.
