The anti head shot rule has helped tremendously. It used to be a free for all. Late head shots to the qb, blind side helmet shot to receivers etc.

This isn't going to change parents' decisions about not allowing their kids/teens to play tackle even when they are at the recommended age. The equipment is not at the point where parents feel safe allowing their kids/teens to play tackle.

These helmets would def protect against skull fractures but you're still gonna have a problem with concussions
