In Mathematics pattern recognition is a method that student should use to solve all types of problems in Math and Science. There is always a pattern in Factoring, whether its by difference of squares, by grouping or trial and error.

you explain better than my teacher! at the class, i just keep on yawning, really! sleepiness strikes! i don't understand what she's talking about....so i always end up with zero in my quizzes..which makes me feel so bad..i then concluded that i maybe dull when it comes to mathematics...

It is a pattern that only works for multiplying binomials.

thank you for your help. I have a question: for the last problem my result is different I got 4xy instead of - 4xy .can you help?(x-y)^2 - (x+y)^2[(x+y)+(x-y)] [(x+y)-(x-y)](x+y+x-y)   (x+y-x+y)(2x)               (2y)4xy
