I have visited a number of the things Messier with my telescope. Some are quite interesting.

WHOW! There is so much crap out there about the universe, astronomy, astrophotography and so on that a video like this is really heartwarming 👍! Great overview, great choice of objects and pictures. I am into the astrophotography hobby for about five years, of course took pictures of them all, but would have a hard time picking a favorite, they are all so fascinating. But if I had to choose one it would be … drums … whirlpool 🤩! Thx.

Thanks for the video. The Messier catalog is such an easy story to use at outreach events. For a few years, I had one of the founders of the Messier Marathon as an observing mentor. Dumb luck of geography.😊

The messier catalogue is the go to for amateur astrophotography. Due to better Telescopes that we have we can eaven see brighter objects pretty well ! Eaven Andromeda is visible, altogh without much exposure you only see the core. Nice video !

imagine what Mr Messier would think if he could see the instruments we use in our backyards today.

The most polished video I've seen on your channel, yet. 👍. However, I still like the organic feel of the other ones too. 😉

I bought an iOptron AZ Pro that has a database of over 112, 000 objects and at the top is the 110 object Messier Catalogue. Some objects are still blurry spots even in modern telescopes and you wonder why he called the Orion Nebula a blurry spot until you see the telescope he was using.

And if you see clouds, tell them to sod off. Haven't heard this one in a long while. 😂
