Great video. Honest question - if you stack the sponges why do you put the fine on top. Also with the stacked sponges should the air line/stone extend to the bottom of the base sponge?

ATI Hydro sponge filters are my favorite. I use both the fine and the coarse. Since I keep and breed messy fish such as exotic plecos and rare corydoras, I tend to lean to the coarse sponge. Won't buy anything else!

Love the API filters and glad to see a source option and better yet a combo unit. I will buy one as using only source doesn't trap enough gunk but having it as a combo unit ensures you have flow even if the fine clogs. A note on the patent though, ... I think it was patented in 1994 which means the patent was valid through 2013. The Chinese do steel patents though, just maybe not in this case as copying is only considered patent infringement if it happens while the patent is valid.
