She happily jumped on her bed while her dad was staring at the night sky.

-Hello?!!, is there someone alive?, did you survive the landing?!.
A man shouted through the communication line.
no answer.

She took a long breath.
Got out of the spaceship and smiled at the earth, knowing somewhere down there, her friends and siblings are waiting for her, but it was the first and last time for her being on the moon.

-Hey mom, remember what I said that day?..
she took off the spacesuit helmet and tears showed in her eyes.

I'm doing good, ofc losing half a year from my sophomore year is kind of sad but it's okay, we are growing stronger and stronger with the time.

I got quarantined again. Unfortunately, Corona got pretty bad here again but I'm keeping up :) wbu? ~
There's this sentence- "Are you ever really sure of the impact you have on people?". Honestly, 1 year ago when I posted this comment I was surprised on how much this short story touched some of you, I'm very glad.

Hello everyone, I'm sorry I haven't returned to see how all of you are doing for so long. I'm going through a hard time but I really do hope all of you are doing well. 2 years passed since I posted this comment and I can't even explain how glad I am that I did, every time I return here I feel at peace. Thank you everyone and remember, it gets better. I saw some comments that asked me to keep on writing, I do- I promise. My mind is a storm and that is why I have to keep writing to let the storm pass without leaving me broken.

Five years have passed since I wrote this, I was 15 back then. I must say every time I see a comment posted, I return here to read everything all over again.
I recently started writing a book.

The contrast between the silence at 2:23 and at 3:10 is amazing. The silence at 2:23 happens right where you would expect the song to peak, and hearing nothing is disappointing and depressing. The song comforts you out of your depression with hopeful piano notes that turn into the build which leads to the silence at 3:10. This time, the song pushes through the silence into an awe-inspiring victory.
It's as if it needed to find hope after its first failure in order to become strong enough to achieve its dream.
