I can’t think of any composer that has had a bigger impact on our culture than John Williams has. It is truly astounding

As someone who played trumpet in middle and high school many years ago, I could only imagine how much of an honor it would have been to play that opening as first seat. To be handed a sheet of music and know that you would be playing those first few iconic notes would have absolutely made me feel like I've won at life... much less, to play for the legendary John Williams.

When I hear this nostalgia floods through me and a tear goes to my eye because it’s the last movie of a great series

I LOVE that sick burn Spielberg did with KK! She clapped for the other names...but when he went to JW, she stopped and clenched so tight Frank Marshall had to tap her shoulder to help George.

Can't even imagine the feeling doing this for him. My top childhood film composer. Wish I could shake his hand and hug him, but will never be able to. (Turning 40 next month)

Ha ha! KK was pissssed! Spielberg left her out in the cold. She thought he was going to mention her. She did not clap at the end and her husband Frank had to whisk her off the stage in humiliation! Glorious!!!!

Yes, Ms. Kennedy. John Williams deserves a lot of credit for the success of this franchise you’re about to ruin along with the rest of Lucasfilm franchises. Show some class and check your ego at the door.

Don't these people ever have enough money not to humiliate themselves in their final days. This movie is an insult to the first ones, especially the first one.
