25hp Yamaha two stroke outboard

25hp Yamaha CV two stroke outboard. This is a long shaft outboard and I’m running it on a Quintrex 11ft aluminium boat.

What you prefer. This Yamaha 25/30 or the Tohatsu 25/30 2 stroke. ?The Tohatsu seems like less vibration and sound, less weight also. However the Yamaha seems more powerful.

Hi, love your vids. I have a 2 stroke single carb 15 hp Suzy, how can I squeeze some more hp out of it? I don't want to buy a bigger outboard as I run it on the tender on my motor cruiser and have to manhandle it at times when I remove the motor for passage making, my back don't need the extra weight. I have been searching youtube for tips on hotting it up but no joy. Do you have any tips for channels doing work on small outboards for racing? cheers and beers, Brad.

Does anyone know whats the difference between the 30hp and the 25hp version.? The carbs are the same, the reeds identical, props the same. Same plugs. (Im genuinely asking)

Hi all Ive got a 25hp yamaha autolube 2006 model and ive got the 6mm engine fittings to go on but the hose size is 3/8 hose is that the correct size..not sure weather the 8mm engine connection is correct size for engine or the 6mm any help muh appreciated
