The Website is hard to navigate since the numbers don't correlate to the problems in the homework, instead of 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. can you do (5.7) like it is for this one?

You can save 10 min by using the system solver on the TI-36x Pro calculator

I'm pretty sure these answers are wrong. Your videos are amazing, they're usually not wrong. But, I checked my answer with the solution manual and it was exactly the same. FA = 350 FB = 100 and FC = 250. Checked it with Matlab too.

You are legend but
Sum forces in z direction
-500-200+a+b+c=0
Now
Take moment
Remember no moment around z axis because all forces in z direction
Ok
Sum of moment around x axis
-200×3+c×3+a×3-500×1.5=0
Sum of moment around y axis
B×4+c×4-200×2-500×2=0
From first equation
A=(1350-3c) ÷3
From second
B=(1400-4c)÷4
Put value of a & b in equation of sum of forces in z direction a and b will eliminate only c will left c value will come 100
Put value of c in equation of a 👆and get a put value in equation of b get b
Don't forget wait of plat is Middle of plate going down 1.5ft in x direction 2 ft in y direction because w is in Middle
